As a science student, I view myself as pretty analytical, most of the time. I have been working for years on a theory of mine involving probability, statistics and people. I won't bore you with the details. Anyways, for the longest time, I was skeptical of my own theory- despite it being approved by experts in the fields of the social sciences, computer science and statistics.
Recently, I had a breakthrough idea that was sort of an add on to my theory and helped it make more sense to me. My skepticism subsided somewhat and now I do believe my theory is correct. However, what baffled me now was "why?" Why is the doubt now clear from my mind when I was right all along. So, I got out my Yijing coins and cast a hexagram.
The hexagram I got was Yu {No. 16. delight/Joy}. There were no moving lines. If anyone here can make any suggestions how this might apply to my case I would appreciate it greatly. Personally, my first personal interpretation is that this confirms my theory and that after a long mental battle, I have overcome my own self-consciousness and doubt. What do you think?
