id be curious to know how you interpret this. as few different readings led up to this question, i guess its too long of a story to provide the full background. plus, would be interested to see how my initial understanding aligns with your answers, so im happy to share more thoughts as i hopefully gather some feedback.
in a very broad sense, it helped me realise that my current line of work has maybe actually more purpose for me to see than i initially recognised. looking back at my career, weirdly, i always seem to find myself in the midst of chaos, but mostly viewed it as cause for burnout rather than place of growth but 3 also makes me wonder about those slowly germinating ideas of personal projects, that ive been setting aside for years.
yet another fun fact, ive been stuck for a about a decade in a corporate job and im open to the thought of a complete career switch. could the pledge after 10 years from line 2 in Wilhelms translation be about making a firm decision in the direction i take?
and what do you think in this context of Wilhelms commentary to the 1st governing line that to rule by serving is the secret of success ?
what types of professions, what fields of occupation are coming to your mind for hexagram 3? i cant help but love studying so would consider taking up some steps to further my education if its to support the goal of making my work situation better. but at this stage in my life and with little financial resources id have to pick my next studies much more carefully not sure if its to do with 3 at all though.
