The past few years I have done a reading for each new year. In general, I just hold the year in mind as I cast, as if for an overview. For 2019, I received 36.5 to 63.
I know in general this seems like quite a challenging position, but as I was reading it there seemed to be something comforting about it. That said, when it comes to Yi, I am an amateur at best. Still, I really resonated with the changing line I received. I feel that I am quite used to handling challenging situations as is described in this line--by guarding my ideals and outwardly conforming.
I have many changes coming this year. Most notably, I just finished my master's program and am trying to grow my professional clientele. I do not expect it to be easy, but I am hopeful. That said, I've never been sure what to make of hexagram 63.
It would seem this reading matches my circumstances, but I would still appreciate anyone else's feedback. As I mentioned, I'm not very experienced with Yi at all. :bows:
