Hexagram 25.2>10
I've been working on a particular creative project for a number of months, unfortunatly it's a project that requires the input, help of other parties. I've done my part and have been waiting on the input/contribution of another party. The group has been agreed to contribute, but I'm suspecting that this may only be talk, due to their spotty communication.
This has left me frustrated, as in order to complete it, I need their contribution, its not something I can do on my own due to the nature of the project.
I've reached a point in which there is no point in further reaching out. As I see it, either they will indeed contribute, or they won't, and its a matter of when... I can wait indefinitely (except that stresses me out and ends up limiting what other work I can do) and maybe it will work out or maybe it won't, or I can set a personal deadline after which I scrap the project and start something different.
I'm heading on a weeks vacation in about two weeks time, a much needed R&R with extended family, and my thoughts were, what if I were to set a deadline with myself, such that if they haven't contributed work by the time I return home, I say "F it", scrap the project, accept it as a loss, and start something new.
I asked the Iching that question, a sort of "what if" that is asking for guidance, and recieved
