I have a casual job and a new boss who I was getting on with extremely well and I was showing the utmost support to him as he's struggling to find his feet in his new role. The other day he started to show signs of a change in attitude towards me and has cut my shift hours back and showing some disrespect towards me but I've no idea why.

I am probably 20 years or so older than him and also had more experience than him with kids and I wonder if that bothers him at all, you know he's trying to show me he's the BOSS! I don't want to be the boss I'm happy to be in the role I'm employed for. Line 4 suggests there's no blame on my part.
