problem interpreting hex. 64

Hello everyone,

I've been having a complicated relationship with a guy. I'm completely head over heels about him, and he seemed to feel teh same about me, but the other day he told me he had been chatting with another woman who met online and that was starting to have feelings for her. He said he needed time to think things through becasue he wasn't sure anymore about our relationship. He was quite blunt and honest, but made me realize how disconnected from each other we were. I also think he only needed to make sure she was in for something before dumping me, just in case. That's how it sounded, anyway. The day after I broke up with him cold turkey with a short email, saying that I didn't want to wait for his decision. I thought I would feel incredibly stupid waiting to be dropped by someone who had already started disconnecting from me and focusing in another woman. I told him I didn't want to wait for his decision, that I had taken mine and didn't want to hear from him ever again.
I felt terrible after that. Becasuse no matter how unfair or hurtful he's been to me. That's not the way I deal with things. I just wanted to keep some dignity and burn all the bridges to prevent myself from coming back to him. So I thought I would write him a letter to apologise for my brutality, to thank him for the things we've shared and wish him luck. I'm finding it hard to put closure on all that the way I did it. I ask the iching:

What will happen if I write this letter? Ang got HExagram 64.

The funny thing is that, right after the breaking up, I had asked the iching: What will happen from now on? And got

Hex. 46.3.4.6 moving to 64.

So now I got 64 again when I ask about the letter.

I take it as I rushed too much when making the decision and now it's like the whole thing is unfinished. But I don't know what to do about the letter. HEx 64 speaks of an unfinished business, so I might well mean that I should finish my breaking up business by writting that letter?
I'll apreciate any insight. Thanks a lot (and excuse my English) :)
