Left my job a year and a half ago for another. After a year, the company I was working for filed bankruptcy and I was laid off. I ended up taking a contract position with my former employer. They have openings and have asked me to apply for a job there. The problem is if I do this, I will end up in the same position for the rest of my career based on past experience. The positives are I would have income and would be eligible for my former benefits (4 weeks vacation + 5% of salary in 401K each year). I don't mind the work but don't fancy doing the same thing for the next 22 years. I asked "Should I leave?" I know yes or no questions or bad, but 1.5>14 is what I got. To me it says "fly away." Any interpretation would be helpful. Thanks.
