I've notice'd that the danish word "Hygge" has caused quite a lot of interest around in our neighbourhood and specially in the US and the UK.
Instead of a longer explanation let a 65 years old dane give You a picture that'll make You understand what this term stand for:
As child I often lay in a tent with my friends during summertime and when the rain was heavy we lay there dry and safe lookin at the adults hurrying to seek shelter from the rain and: "det var hyggeligt" (that was "hygge") and very funny too...
