How much to share? 34.1.2-62 or 30.5-13

Hello folks, hoping someone can give me a bit of insight to this, thankyou..

So I have to give a presentation of original ideas to an industry expert as part of a training.
However someone from a previous year complained the idea they presented was appropriated after their presentation.

I have what I think is a really good idea, how much is safe to share?
