Hi all,
Just checking in with Yi re the state of the world and also looking back at past readings and seeing how they panned out.
Today I asked whether we would crash out of the EU with no deal and enter complete chaos or would things remain the same as ever (not the clearest wording I will admit):
51.6 > 21
Continued shocks and uncertainty? No surprise there, either way, hopefully we won't descend into martial law or some kind of Walking Dead dystopia (fingers crossed).
I asked: what can I do to prepare either for leaving or staying in the EU? 12 uc.
Not a lot?! Perhaps there will be an impasse. Another impasse. Frankly at this point an impasse sounds great. :brickwall:
Looked back at readings from 2016/17. Can't find any questions specifically on Brexit but I asked several about Trump.
Nov 2016: effect on world of Trump presidency - 51 uc
/ will it be as bad as everyone anticipates or an opportunity for change - 25.2 > 10
Feb 2017: will he be impeached - 34.4.6 > 26 (i took this to mean 'no')
/ will it lead to fascism - 41.1.2.5 > 20
/ will he be pres for full term - 52.2.4.5 > 44 (yerp)
/ will he be impeached - 14.1.3 > 64 (naw)
/the world is really effed up. what will happen - 2 uc
March 2017: will we be safe from Trump - 18.1.6 > 11
/ will trump resign - 34.2.4.6 > 22 (doesn't look like it)
/describe trump admin - 8.1.3.5 > 36
July 2017: will trump admin be found guilty and removed from office - 6.1.3 > 1(somewhat)
October 2017: will Trump serve full term - 14.5 > 1(likely)
My impression overall was that Yi didn't have as negative an opinion of Trump as I do! Where his success was indicated, moral decay and the proliferation of evil was not also indicated (whereas I hold the two to be mutually indistinguishable). This challenges my assumptions about the way Yi works and its fundamental morality (which I naturally, but perhaps mistakenly, assume to be contiguous with mine) in ways I'm not fully computing at the moment.
aye-aye-aye...
