Back in October, my husband and I were contemplating taking a trip to a few National Parks during this week in January. At that time, I asked Yi, "What would be the outcome of taking this trip in January?" and received 27.3->22.
Well, yikes.
That line 3:
"Rejecting nourishment. constancy, pitfall. For ten years, don't act.
No direction bears fruit."
This reading thoroughly spooked me. It was one of those rare instances where, though I had zero intuition that this trip would not be a good idea, I took 27.3 as an urgent warning from Yi and decided to call it off. My husband doesn't like traveling anyway so he was fine to not to do it, though it's a trip we've talked about doing for ages. I felt a bit wistful but also relieved (we have a toddler and the logistics were going to be challenging anyway). We hadn't done any booking of airline tickets or a car, so it was easy to call off.
I'm sharing the reading now because wow, Yi saved us some real trouble. Thanks to Trump's government shutdown, the main National Park we planned to visit and all the others that are around it are currently closed. If we had made the trip we could have found alternate things to do but since the whole point was to experience these parks, and the region is not at all easy for us to get to, it would have been a major disappointment.
"No direction bears fruit" indeed.
Separately, I often get 22 when I have to put on a good face in a situation where I'd rather mope, a situation where I have to hide disappointment or irritation. Not sure if that's relevant here exactly but it did stand out to me.
Adding this to Wikiwing as well!
