True Feelings 26.3 --> 41

Hello,

I think I am getting a little better doing my own readings or understanding them, but there is always still that inkling feeling to ask for people's opinions upon both my own version and for maybe their interpretation of the hexagram. Also, I found this hexagram quite unclear and with contradicting interpretations.

I am still in the post-break up mind, wondering and asking questions does he, does he not love me like a crazy person? After having split up due to constant arguing, mine insecurities, eventual isolation and so on. He also started being with another person straight after our break up, not sure if they still together or not either. But since I am coming back in a months time where he is, there is still a beam of hope.

So I asked what are his true feelings for me? (I was to be honest was expecting the worst answer, but got slightly confusing 26.3 changing to 41).

I thought since we haven't spoke from our last meeting a few months ago the restraint was a pretty accurate description here. I thought that the answer was indicating that he is restraining his feelings towards me, not contacting me etc. for the better purpose, e.g. he thinks that we are better apart than together. He restraining his feelings for the good of the whole.

In regards to the changing line there seems to be difficulties in keeping up I guess with silence and restrain/co contact but he feels like he needs to continue it. The hex seems pretty suiting for his character as he is really stubborn and if he thinks he made the right decision or if he made a decision, not even a right one, he will stick to it.

There is also indication of working on the self, but not sure if this is for me or for him?
Anyways, I thought the line was certainly not showing feeling of love and affection, however what LISE said in her website about the changing line (bellow) made me speculate maybe he is realising that our relationship had troubles, but it was beautiful? Or Is it my wishful thinking speaking here?

"If you acquire something beautiful or precious, you also acquire the worries, duties and care that go with it. Accept them as being part of it, do not see them as negative but as essential parts of your life. A careless life without possessions can be alluring, but a life with care and possessions, and the ability to cope with them, is complete."

As always i appreciate everyone's answers so so much, it has been truly helpful!
