Hi, I'd like to share one of my recent readings and ask for your advice.
I've lost contact with a very old friend of mine. We were lovers 15 years ago and have been good friends since then. We usually are in touch, writing each other in whatsapp 2-3 times a month. He used to move to the south region for a seasonal business with his family during the warm time of year. When back here for winter, he would visit me often. He could answer a message some weeks after receiving it but I could judge by a message status that it's delivered and read. 3 month ago messages stoped being delivered. Knowing he's a reckless scatterbrain I didn't get worried. Possibly just another of his smartphones got smashed. But time went, I've writtern him birthday wishes - nothing. Then I tried calling phone numbers I know, but they all are unavailable. I wasn't in contact with his friends or relatives, so I just don't know how to search for him. But I do know he's got some drug problems and all in all is prone to have episodes of quite marginal behaviour (not dangerous to anyone except him). There were some minor issues with the police.
Now is just time when he planned to be back to North. It can't be he wouldn't contact me. The last time he wrote me he sent me photos of his son bathing in sea waves. No conflicts. So I have to consider him missing. Terrible. That is why I suddenly asked Yi "Why X is unavailable, what happened?". Usually I ask about my feelings or consequences of my decisions, never tried probing "real life" while having 0 info. But when he disappeared first thing I thought was "what if he's got in jail?"
Imagine my shock when I cast 6.6 -> 47 today.
I've seen a thread somewhere in here about that Yi never really tells us anything about real outer world, it only reflects our thoughts and feelings or unconscious insights (intuition, based on actual data that we're unable to use consciously). So this may just be it.
Please share your experience regarding the literal hexagrams readings. Maybe there are threads on this topic.
I'll update this thread as soon as I get any information about whereabouts of my friend (hopefully). I'm scared.
