Our much beloved greyhound has been diagnosed yesterday with arrhytmia. She's got already a life-long disease (a Mediterranean parasite disease called leishmaniasis) and I am afraid this will take the final toll on her health.
I asked what the best course of action with regards to this new health challenge and I received 14.1.3 to 64.
It seems to me that 14.1 is telling me that it is congenital or in any way, "not our fault". I am also tempted to think that this problem is not related to leish (the vet said he does not see the connection) (we adopted her with leish so her disease is not our fault either).
The 14.3 seems to tell me that we need to take the problem seriously and confide in medical help. I read different interpretations mention sacrifice but I hope this is not as in "you'll need to sacrifice the dog".
Hexagram 64 seems to suggest to me that the crisis can be averted but this problem will require forever vigilance.
But I also think that it could quite mean the opposite and we should let nature run its course.
I am in a lot of distress now because she's just another of the children. I thank you for your help. In any case whatever interpretation, we will take her to a specialist vet to have her heart assessed in the next few weeks. There can't be any harm in that.
