Howdy all,
I need some perspective on these readings. Bit of background: An ex and I broke up because of issues of me seeming distant and not as open as I was in the beginning, though in my heart I truly loved her and cherished our relationship. The relationship was excellent and we were both on the same page of keeping the momentum going. However, after a few months of losing my job and being unchallenged with life, had pushed her to cause the split. I have been feeling devastated along with a sense of it "ending too early." But there was a blessing in her leaving me: I found exactly what I needed to be happy and am overflowing with joy. And that joy is challenging myself and taking on new, expressive hobbies such as writing (which I'm really enjoying and now feel much more in-tune with myself) and more intense bodybuilding. I feel so fantastic and full of life again, but would love to share it with her again. I've been giving her lots of space and respect and have only communicated with her twice in our two months apart, and daily I am pushing myself to be the great man I once was.
I have consulted the Yi and asked for advice in furthering and rebuilding our relationship because I will be seeing her soon with a group of mutual friends.
My question to the Yi being: What is some advice to consider when seeing *her name* tonight that will help me in reestablishing a relationship with her?
I was given the 10.6 > 58
10.6:
Heaven shines down on the Marsh which reflects it back imperfectly:
Though the Superior Man carefully discriminates between high and low, and acts in accord with the flow of the Tao, there are still situations where a risk must be taken.
You tread upon the tail of the tiger.
Not perceiving you as a threat, the startled tiger does not bite.
Success.
Changing line 6: At your journey's end, look back and examine the path you chose.
If you find no causes for shame, only good works that make you shine, you may take this as an omen of the certainty of great reward.
58:
The joyous Lake spans on and on to the horizon:
The Superior Person renews and expands his Spirit through heart-to-heart exchanges with others.
Success if you stay on course.
Could you all break it down for me a bit more and give a new perspective?
