I’ve been in different mortgage sales role for the last 16 years and with my current company for 4.5 years. I’m loyal when it comes to work and rarely respond to recruiting calls. Not too long ago I decided to respond to a recruiter and received a call from the manager immediately from this new company. He’s building a team of preferred loan officers for a well known builder in the Bay Area. I’ve been in many different lending positions but yet to have the builder business under my belt and have always been fascinated with the idea. I’ve been successful at my current company but do find myself mostly working from home and not networking or being out as often. With the new company I’m expected to work most Weekends and will be surrounded by lots of clients and other sales agents. I’m so torn about this change/decision and still asking my heart and intuition what I believe will be right for me. I have an energetic and creative personality but I respond better when I’m surrounded by people.
