Why hasn’t he contacted me yet?

I may just be impatient at the moment but someone( a crush) was supposed to contact me late December/ early this month and there is no sign of any communication happening. I know it’s still kind of early in the month but I feel like it should of happened by now and it’s giving me anxiety.Question : why hasn’t he contacted me yet?Answer: 8.4.5 to 16
