Should I be more or less rigid? 61.1 to 59 and 31.1.2.5 to 34

Recently I had an argument with a friend. We’ve made some sort of reconciliation but I have a feeling he hasn’t done things that are important for me. On the other hand, he has a lot on his plate, lately. So I wonder if I should go easy on him, or perhaps I should be more rigid?
