I am currently in a pathetic court battle with my daugthter's father. She is 17. In January 2016 I discovered to my horror that he was listed on her birth certificate which meant I needed his permission for her to travel internationally. When we found him, he refused consent out of sheer spite and sent her a very terrible insult. (I don't really want to be your father) Her long awaited overseas trip had to be cancelled. She was already fragile following an assault and became depressed so that eventually I took her out of school to relieve stress. He found out 4 months later when he had to renew his payment of school fees and took me to court essentially because he 'overpaid'. (a bit stupid since the overpaid fees are far less than the cost of the court.)

The case is naturally difficult and filled with power plays. I am at times very concerned that my attorney is not doing what he should and asked for a view of how well he is handling this. My daughter's father has some serious issues to face, but it seems to be dismissed : he refused unreasonably to provide consent which is against our laws. He has not paid this year's school fees (which is against our laws and I can have him arrested) yet we seem to dilly-dally with this.

I want to consider changing attorney, but it may be very late in the game to do that. I asked

Does this mean that the attorney is going to change radically ? Or his handling of my case is ?
