Why is my washing machine not working?

I had to laugh at this one. My washing machine was definitely the sack tied up! The power was working, but no water was coming into the machine. I was seriously puzzled since I have had no problems.
I looked to the yi just because there would be a certain outcome making the whole thing a bit of fun!
I looked at the back of the machine, and I could see no issues with the actual connecting hose. Hmmm... wasn't working -- no praise. But there was no blame either. What was the problem!
So I called a friend who is just one of these ppl who knows how to fix everything. A definite line 5 as the guy is affluent and could be someone who could hire ppl to fix what needs fixing, but he still does everything himself no matter what is. He said to turn off the tap to the hose and to unhook the hose to see whether it was blocked.
Oh yeah!

Before I did that part, I followed the advice and turned off the tap. Suddenly a rush of water came through the hose. That is when I remembered, I have a washing machine that loves to take walks during the spin cycle! It must have hit the faucet during one of its walks and turned off the tap!
