I am new to the IC, I am still learning and have made a few errors so far in that I have asked questions that require a yes or no answer. I now understand that this is far less useful than asking a question such as 'what will the outcome be if...'.
Nevertheless, I wondered if anyone could give me their interpretation of my reading. I fell out with a friend about 4 years ago now and we haven't spoken since. Just recently I have been wanting to make contact again, after all it has been a long time and I feel we would both like to move on from that past. Trouble is, the number I had for them is no longer in use and they no longer live at their previous address.
I was able to get hold of a family members home phone number and kindly asked that they pass on a message and also my phone number. Some days have passed now and I haven't had a phone call. I asked the IC whether this old friend of mine would call me or not and got hexagram 40 with no changing lines.
I have little experience in interpreting readings as I am pretty new to this but the word deliverance initially suggested to me that my message had literally been delivered to my friend and that they were in possession of my number. The reading said that if there is no real purpose in pursuing this then retreating brings good fortune. However, if there was a good cause for pursuing it then acting quickly brings good fortune.
Can anyone add to this at all or tell me what your thoughts are? I don't want to call the family members phone number again as I don't want to bug them, especially if they have passed on my number and this person just doesn't want to speak to me but at the same time I feel like I am supposed to get in touch with them again for some reason.
