Real situation? 17.1.4 -> 8

Hi,

I am currently in a confusing situation with this guy I met a few months ago, we used to exchange sweet messages but along the way everything started to go downhill, he is sometimes nice and sometimes aloof which left me bewildered. I asked the I Ching what is the real situation between him and me and I got 17.1.4 (Following) -> 8 (Seeking Union)

Line 1
‘An official has a change of heart.
Constancy, good fortune.
Going out of the gates, joining with others, there is achievement.’

Line 4
‘Following makes a catch. Constancy, pitfall.
With truth and confidence, holding to the path with clarity,
How can this be wrong?’

Line 1 states an official has a change of heart, does this mean he might have a change of heart?
